Much done, but...

...I still feel like, somehow, I didn't do enough today.

Things accomplished:

  • Plumbers arrived, installed the new toilet.
  • I went out and mowed the lawn.
  • I dried out my tent and Aerobed from this weekend.
  • I placed the sweep at the bottom of the new door out of the kitchen.
  • I painted the new door out of the kitchen.
  • I painted the trim throughout the kitchen, in especial around the window.
  • I folded my laundry.
  • I did all the dishes in the sink.
  • I spent 2 hours at The Urban Muse, closing so Kristin could get rest for a very big day tomorrow.
  • I wrote a treatment for a reality travel show for a job I applied to rather randomly.
  • I hit the grocery store on the way home from work.

Ok, so all of that was done...and yet...I still feel like I have accomplished nothing.  Why am I feeling so terribly disconnected?  I gotta do something to get back to center, and soon!

It depends on what you consider stuff worth accomplishing. If you don't consider (for instance) folding laundry as anything worth getting done, even if you know it needs to be done, you won't feel like you've done anything when it's finished.

I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to be this observant this early in the morning. ;-)
