Happy Hanukkah, Chanukah, Hanukah, Hanukka, Chanukka, etc.  :-)

I may have asked you this last year, but what's with all the different spellings? Is one more correct than the other? I'll be honest, I wanted to mention it yesterday when I was 'happy solstice'-ing everyone, but I didn't want to spell it incorrectly and inadvertantly offend someone! Just curious. :)

There IS no correct spelling. This is one of those words that translates from the Hebrew into multiple English spellings. And you see it with a 'Ch' instead of 'H' often because of differences in the transliteration of Hebrew to English in pronouncing that plegmy sound (like Chuzpah).

Hanuka is the most simple, I personally prefer Hanukkah, 'cause how many words get two 'k's' and two 'h's' in 'em all at once? I think I need to make my own spelling

Channuqkkah - the 'q' is silent. :-)

Hope your Hanukkah is a happy and joyous one, any way you spell it.

K then, I guess I won't worry about how I spell it. I enjoy your version, but I would never remember it. That silent 'q' is sure to throw me off!!!
