fencerm2: (Business me)
Today [livejournal.com profile] krystinia introduced me to the Denville Chamber or Commerce.  It was my first official pitch as a business entity.

I have received notice that I am a registered business with the state of New Jersey.

AND - I give you my web page:

...and yet.

Distance from The Urban Muse in Denville, NJ to my house in Bogota, NJ: 29 miles
Departure from Denville, NJ:  3:00pm
Arrival in Bogota, NJ:  5:20pm
Total travel time:  2 hours, 20 minutes

Took me 30 minutes to get TO Denville this morning.

Apparently, there was a car fire on I-80.  Never saw it.  Saw 2 fire trucks ride down the shoulder, but never saw the charred remains of a vehicle(s), nor smoke.

Wow.  Just, wow.

Not a bad day at all.  Not as awake as I would have cared to be, but it all went pretty well.

Hopefully a good night's sleep tonight will improve my day tomorrow.

Oh, and as of Monday, I am out of excuses - the New York Sports Club in Montclair, less than 5 minutes from work, opens.

Slept in a bit later than intended, but I still managed to get the plates for my car, and then spend a couple quality hours down at Lakewood Ren Faire.  I got to see and spend time with several of my fencer buddies, and some other friends, which is never a bad thing.  And while I only got to spend 2 hours there, it was good none-the-less.

Then I drove to work, and it was an eventful afternoon, but a nice quiet night.  All of the therapists are in treatments still, so I'll be surprised if I manage to head home before 10pm.  But its ok, I finished what I needed to, and can take five to tap out a post.

Depending on how I am feeling in the am, I might go back down to Lakewood for more fencing and socializing, or do some stuff around the house.  Or go for a hike somewhere.  Supposed to be a nice day tomorrow - thus I intend to take advantage of it!

You Should Be a Film Writer
You don't just create compelling stories, you see them as clearly as a movie in your mind. You have a knack for details and dialogue. You can really make a character come to life. Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling. And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen!
