I would think they'd at least try to do something first like, say, make everyone have to pay to use it, which would suck but would be better than just disappearing. I doubt with the amount of money the owners invested in it, we're just going to show up one day to see the lights out and the windows boarded up.
LJ may seem like oxygen to us addicts, but let's face it, it's a luxury item. It's not food or shelter or clothes or a utility. In a tanking economy, luxury item industries are gonna take a hit.
