Weekend adventures

fencerm2Saturday I joined many of the TOADS to go to a demo/Renn faire thing in Long Valley, NJ. It was fairly nice, even if it was a VERY small, poorly attended event (weather was not so hot). But it was nice to hang out with friends.
Yesterday I went hiking at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center. Hard to believe that this place exists - on the outskirts of Englewood! It's about 15 minutes from my house - and beautiful! So of course - took a LOT of photos.
Just to share a couple:
Turtles sunning on a log.
A nice little waterfall along the trail.
A shot of the stream running through much of the property.
