Weekend of many things

Well, this was both a productive and unproductive weekend. But, all in all, not bad.

Spent Saturday around the house...but it was noisy, because there were workers blowing insulation into the walls. Amazing that there was ZERO insulation - maybe our heat will be effective this winter...but I got nothing done while they were working. :-(

I did almost 3 hours worth of editing work Saturday night. Seeker is REALLY coming along - and I might even manage to FINISH it by my self-set deadline of month's end.

Sunday I did some more cleaning about the house, had a nice lunch, and got more editing done - another couple hours worth. Also, watched an episode of Battlestar Galactica - 2 more and I will be caught up on this season. I love having a DVR - such a useful tool!

So my home PC is not doing well - there are flashes and jumps on the monitor that I believe indicate the pending death of my motherboard. I have my I-Book when it crashes - but I do like to have a desktop at home for surfing and having a "base", for what its worth. Paranoid about losing my documents, I acquired one of those 256MB USB Flash drives - what a VERY cool thing! Its a little bigger than a piece of Trident gum - and ALL of my important files are backed up on it! Very cool.

So I've been to the gym today, have Pilates tonight - and I hope this week to get back on track on my diet/exercise program. Coupled with the regular writing - maybe I can get where I want to go, finally. That would be cool.

Ok, back to work now...
