Onwards and forwards
Nov. 6th, 2006 01:08 amLast week was a long week. I worked a lot of hours. Over the weekend my NaNo project suffered some, but I still got some writing in:
After a couple of weeks preparing, today I did the monster project at work. I upgraded our existing computers with the latest point-of-sale software, and managed to successfully add the second client workstation onto the laptop, which I had earlier in the week succeeded at getting onto our network. I even managed to get the laptop to recognize all the necessary hardware the POS software requires so we can use it as a second register.
Exactly eight months to the day since our last software upgrade, only this time I was the tech guy, not supervising the tech guy. I think after NaNo I will be refocusing on that A+ book. I think I need to take that exam.
At last...sleepy time!
