Five questions
Here are the rules:
1 -- Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 -- I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.

Answers to pascual_del_mar 's questions:

1.) If you could share one thing about yourself with people about your personality what would it be?

What many people often see as abrasive or arrogant or bravado on my part is usually a defense mechanism to hide my self esteem issues, and my desire to be accepted by pretty much everyone.

2.) If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?

Europe.  More specifically, the British Isles.  I want to see England and Scotland and Ireland.

3.) If you could be any TV or movie SciFi Character who would you be and why?

Yoda.  He is as wise as buddha, often speaks in riddles, and kicks ass with a lightsaber!

4.) If you could be anyone in the world who would you choose to be other than yourself?

This one has me completely stumped.  I've never thought about what it would be like to be someone else.  Sorry to not satisfy the answer to this...I honestly am drawing a total blank for now.  I'll get back to you on this.

5.) If you were to win the lottery how would you spend the money? (assume winning 100 million after taxes)

Buy all of my friends and family lavish gifts, create trust funds for the college educations of their various children, get my mom the Mercedes she's always wanted, travel to Europe and Japan and anywhere else I want to visit (possibly bring some of my friends, too)...and quit working a day job and write full time - maybe start my own publishing company and avoid the middlemen.  :-)

I can't imagine being anyone else either. Oh, I can see myself in other roles, but I'm always me in all of them, you know what I mean?

1. If you hadn't married and moved to Georgia, where do you think you'd be, and what would you be doing?
2. If you could get away with one completely out-of-character act, what would you do?
3. If you had unlimited resources, what is the most extravagant item you would purchase?
4. Is there anything in particular that you could have done, that you wish you had?

I'd probably still be living in NJ, working tech support at Bristol Myers, fencing every week w/ you and the gang (and probably still sucking at it), and generally doing much what I was before I moved. Not a bad life, really.

2. If you could get away with one completely out-of-character act, what would you do?

Hm, I don't know. What would be out of character for me that I'd actually want to do? I know things I'd like to do that I can't bc of physical limitations, like, say, astronaut training--but that's perfectly in character for me, it's just not possible (I get queasy on motion simulator rides intended for children).

3. If you had unlimited resources, what is the most extravagant item you would purchase?

A castle. In France, maybe. Or England. Or I'd have one built here. :)

4. Is there anything in particular that you could have done, that you wish you had?

I wish I had not ignored history, growing up. I wish I'd told the school district my junior year that I'd be homeschooled. I wish I had learned earlier to hold my temper. I wish I'd broken more rules so I could have been a better teacher. I wish I'd gotten my ass in gear and been a better fencer.

5. Do you consider quizzes like this to be interesting, or mostly silly?

Mostly silly, but you know, it's an ego stroke. People like to talk abotu themselves.
