Took a mental health day yesterday. And to further prove just how out-of-touch I have become with my former religios practices, I totally blanked - it was Yom Kippur. So THAT'S why everything everywhere was so crowded! Oy!

I got a ton of quality editing work done. REALLY fixed some things that never felt...right. So now I am VERY excited about where Seeker is going - it feels much stronger, MUCH more interesting, much deeper. NOW I can get this thing published! Next step - get an agent. I will be sending a query to one on Monday. Prepping what I need for that over the weekend.

Fencing in Piscataway was awesome last night! So many people to kill...so little time! I fought 7 or 8 folks from Tadcaster I don't see as often as I liked - and had a great time! Thanks, all, for coming to play!

So let me leave you with this bit of humor a coworker sent to me:

1) go to www.google.com

2) type in the word failure

3) press the I'm feeling lucky button (instead of the google search)

4) Laugh

5) Tell others before the Google folks fix this!

Actually it won't be changing. The I'm Feeling Lucky Button mearly takes you directly to the first listing that 'naturally' comes up in the search listings for that keyword. If you want an explanation for why go here - http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2005/09/googlebombing-failure.html.
