Upcoming trip to MN

Just a brief note, for those who are local - I'll be in the Twin Cities from Thursday to Sunday, though won't have a ton of time to myself (my cousin's wedding is Saturday). But if, somehow, I found time to at least catch a few folks and say hi, that might be cool. But if its not doable - some other time. I presume I'll have family out there for a long while to come.

I lived out there for a while. It was a wonderful time for me. I've considered moving the family out there. Good follks, nice place. Wonderful live music scene. But in the end, Pam and I decided we'd miss the East too much so we stayed.

Actually, I was born and raised in the 'burbs of Minneapolis. Transplanted out here for college, and never chose to return for more than a summer. My mom and stepdad are there, and the cousin getting married and her whole family are there.

I arrive Thursday morning, like 9am...and am plotting, for lack of sanity, a drive up to Duluth. But I should be back to the Cities are a reasonable hour - so Thursday night might be cool.

I'll be around most any night, but it will have to be after 9:30pm as I work ALL DAY, EVERY DAY in the craaaaaazy life of a theatre technician. Seriously... I work about 13-14hr days.
