I let everything dry out about 24 hours or so...and then today put up new sheetrock. Now I get to wait for the spackle to dry. I figure my shower will be useable late tonight or for tomorrow, and then I can let it dry a few hours again before I sand the spackle down. Painting will occur probably next week. But at least it's mostly back together again. I will put up the new ceiling tiles probably AFTER I paint - debating doing the bathroom in a new color, now, and I think I'd like to maybe paint the track for the tiles in the new color.

This part is ALMOST fun.

Did you know that if you smooth down spackle or joint compound while it's still wet with a wet sponge, you can sometimes avoid having to sand it after it dries?
