Don't recall my first memory, per se, but I recall the above mentioned Atlantian 5 man tourney - you were legged, and practically UNDER your buckler as the 4 Iron Wolf fencers rolled over you - and I seem to recall you almost had to be restrained to keep from slaughtering them all...with your bare hands!

Beta - Japanese fighting fish. So colorful, very pretty - and deadly when on the attack. :-)

Do you recall where our long-standing double-dagger fight originated?

Ugh. I remember that Atlantian melee tourney. It was another prime example of why I don't bother playing in that tourney any more. All those fencers had case too. So I had 8 blades heading in my general direction, which kept hitting me despite the fact that I was flat on my back and yelling dead. I do believe I badgered out once they were finally called off.

Um, honestly I'm not 100% sure. I think we started it at a Pennsic prior to our fencing Pleasure Cruise. I know it was a pick up bout late one day at Pennsic. I don't remember fighting double dagger before that time though.

Hmmmmmmmmmm...the first thing I recall clearly was working on buckler with you at the event where Ian got his OGR - in fact, didn't we auth you there? I remember thinking, damn, she's really good with that buckler already!

Thanks. Yeah, as I recall it, you and Xavier qual'ed me in rigid the morning of the TOAD/Tad war.
I proof and edit (yeah, different steps) abstracts of scientific/medical materials for a handful of CDC databases. I learned recently that the CDC isn't renewing our contract at the end of September, though, so I redid my resume over the weekend. Which was... such fun. Excuse me. (hacks up hairball)

The most vivid memory I have of you is from Fast Eddy's tourney that required the Bad French Accents - and you throwing in the "HeHeHe" at the end of your sentences :-)

Date: 2005-08-04 04:14 am (UTC)#7-I live in the capital of the state. I do not live in the Boonies. It is NOT my fault that the closest fencing community in the Central NJ/Philly area. So I don't really live in the boonies. As far as why I'm still here, it's because no one so far no one in Philly has hired me. As soon as someone does hire me out there I'll move, until then here I am. And yeah, it sucks-thanks for reminding me.
