fencerm2I wanted to build a PC. Seen it done, helped do it a few times...how hard could it be?
Made a mistake or two, figured them out - and it starts! BUT - it won't run Windows. WTF? It keeps rebooting. Baronan tells me Windows might need to be reloaded - probably doesn't recognize the new hardware (Motherboard, CPU, RAM, and a new DVDRW).
Tried the disk...not working. It doesn't want to accept that I accept the terms, blah blah blah. *sigh*
Too tired to do this anymore tonight. Glad I still have my I-Book - but wondering if I should have sunk the additional $100+ and just acquired a new PC. :-(

Date: 2005-10-26 06:15 pm (UTC)I am currently thinking I will acquire a copy of Windows XP, and reload that to the HD, which will hopefully start it. See no reason why it wouldn't...
